    Driven Midwest USAC NOW600 National Series Takes Tight Points Battles to RPM and Superbowl

    Inside Line Promotions – DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (July 10, 2017) – This weekend marks the halfway point of the season for the Driven Midwest USAC NOW600 National Micro Series presented by MyRacePass, which will compete at a pair of Texas ovals.

    RPM Speedway in Crandall will host its first of two events this season on Friday before the series makes its first visit to Superbowl Speedway in Greenville since the season-opening doubleheader in March. Winged ‘A’ Class and Restricted ‘A’ Class will compete both nights.

    Frank Flud leads the way in the Winged ‘A’ Class as his six wins have guided him to a 67-point advantage in the championship standings over Jason McDougal, who has one win in the books. Kaylee Bryson is 34 points behind McDougal and ranks third in the standings.

    The closest championship battle is in the Restricted ‘A’ Class as three-time winner Daison Pursley owns a 44-point edge over four-time winner Ryder Laplante. Chase Randall, who has one win, is 98 points behind Pursley. Kale Drake has won the last two races to pull within 112 points of the lead.

    Tickets for Friday’s show are $12 for adults, $10 for senior citizens, military members and ages 13-years-old to 15-years-old, and free for children ages 12 and younger.

    Saturday’s tickets are $12 for adults, $7 for children ages 7-years-old to 11-years-old and free for children ages 6 and younger.

    The front gates are scheduled to open at 5 p.m. with racing at 8 p.m. both nights. The drivers meeting is at 6:30 p.m.

    The series will hold the draw directly after the drivers meeting and it will close after the last driver present at the meeting has drawn in. If any driver is running late he or she should call Series Director Terry Mattox at 918-417-0624.
