    Flud and Laplante Continue Winning Ways With Driven Midwest USAC NOW600 National Series at RPM Speedway

    Inside Line Promotions – CRANDALL, Texas (July 14, 2017) – Frank Flud and Ryder Laplante are the two winningest drivers this season with the Driven Midwest USAC NOW600 National Micro Series presented by MyRacePass.

    Both competitors returned to the Inside Line Promotions Victory Lane on Friday night when the series made its first visit of the season to RPM Speedway.

    Flud captured his series-leading seventh Winged ‘A’ Class triumph after starting the 20-lap main event sixth. Daison Pursley maneuvered from fifth to second place with Colby Stubblefield rallying from eighth to third. Chase Brewer ended fourth and Colton Corbin advanced from 11th to fifth.

    Brady Ross, Flud and Brewer were the heat race winners.

    Laplante scored his series-best fifth Restricted ‘A’ Class victory of the season at his fifth different track. Kale Drake finished in the runner-up position with Pursley, who leads the championship standings, rounding out the podium. Maverick Elkins placed fourth and Shelby Price was fifth.

    Caleb Rouser and Laplante each claimed a heat race triumph.

    The series will return to action on Saturday at Superbowl Speedway in Greenville, Texas.

    Tickets are $12 for adults, $7 for children ages 7-years-old to 11-years-old and free for children ages 6 and younger.

    The front gates are scheduled to open at 5 p.m. with racing at 8 p.m. The drivers meeting is at 6:30 p.m.

    The series will hold the draw directly after the drivers meeting and it will close after the last driver present at the meeting has drawn in. If any driver is running late he or she should call Series Director Terry Mattox at 918-417-0624.
